Sanak – Pakistani Thriller in the making!

‘Sanak’ Pakistani thriller feature in the making has caught the attention of the media! The shooting has begun for the upcoming thriller movie Sanak. After revealing the announcement title the buzz has received a lot of great reviews and looks very promising.

Roy Motion Pictures is currently filming with the director Hassan Fareed in collaboration with Imdad Hussain Productions the same and will release more details soon. The details of cast involves Shyraa Roy with Many new faces in leads and even have cameos from well known celebs of the town. in a way of asking Vikram Bhatt who is a classic writer and director of bollywood dark cinema.

The former Miss Trans Pakistan 2022, Roy has focused on producing some good quality work for Pakistan in the recent years. She has released music videos as well as will be coming in a feature international film in the coming year.

‘This is my most ambitious project ever because im writing for pakistani cinema, I strongly believe the audience will enjoy the film as we have put in a lot of thought in the screenplay development.’, said Vikram bhatt when contacted for more details. Shyraa Roy has produced and co-produced several music videos in the past such as ‘Kamli, Raat, Duniya and is currently part of the Indian web-series ‘Hello Shabnam’.

 

 

Shyraa Roy’s projects have won her over 25 awards and several nominations across film festivals globally. She is also well respected in the UAE media circle as a very dedicated producer, singer, actress and Miss Trans Pakistan title-holder. The film is to release by Mid 2023 across the cinemas worldwide. Roy stated, “The focus is to help the Pakistani cinema as much as possible and all and any work is dedicated towards the Pakistani cinema. Sanak is a pure Pakistani project visualized and conceptualized in Lahore, Pakistan and there are many opportunities given to new faces so that we can expand the Lahore based Lollywood Industry for Pakistan. It is a project that is close to my heart as we have well known stars in our film as well as newcomers. And I am very proud to say that trans women are getting lead roles in movies Made in Pakistan.”
