Veteran Actor Kader Khan passed away in Toronto, Canada on December 31, 2018 at age 81. His son Sarfaraz Khan confirmed the news. Sarfaraz added, that his father was hospitalized for the past 16-17 weeks due to a prolonged illness and slipped into a coma in the afternoon of December 31, 2018 and passed away at 6:00 PM (Toronto, Canada Time) EST. He further confirmed that his father’s last rites would be performed in Toronto, Canada as his entire family lives here and added that he is thankful to everyone for their love, support and blessings.
Kader Khan was a scriptwriter/actor and was at the peak of his career in the 1980’s and 1990’s. He was suffering from an illness called the Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a degenerative disease that causes loss of balance, dementia and difficulty in walking.
