Women and heart disease

In North America 1 in every 4 women die of heart disease which means a good 25% of women out of 100% are at risk.

Once termed as a man’s disease, heart disease has become a number one concern for women in 2018. Almost 65% of women who die of heart disease show no signs or symptoms, and over 90% of women have one or more risk factors.

 

 

Signs of Heart Attack, prior to or during the heart attack: 

  1. Sweating
  2. Anxiety
  3. Chest pains
  4. Shortness of breath
  5. Vomiting or Nausea
  6. Dizziness, fainting or Light-headedness
  7. Anxiety or emotional stress
  8. High Blood Sugar patients may not have symptoms or very mild symptoms
  9. Upper back or Chest Pressure
  10. Unusual fatigue
